Dr. Harmony Evans is a licensed mental health counselor, clinical sexologist, and holistic wellness professional with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families thrive. Her approach blends evidence-based therapy, sex-positive education, trauma-informed care, and holistic health strategies. Based in Tampa, Florida, she works with clients across a wide range of identities, experiences, and concerns.
Education and Training
Dr. Evans holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology from the International Institute of Clinical Sexology, where she specialized in transgender health, kink-affirming therapy, and sexual wellness. She earned her M.A. and B.A. in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, graduating magna cum laude. She also holds a Master’s in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Science from East West College of Natural Medicine. Her early academic foundation began with an A.A. in Chemistry and a certification in massage therapy.
Licensure and Certifications
Dr. Evans is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida (MH10304), a Board-Certified Clinical Sexologist, and a Certified Transgender Care Specialist. She is also a certified family court mediator and collaborative divorce professional. While she previously practiced as a licensed acupuncture physician and massage therapist, her focus today centers on psychotherapy, education, and supervision.

Dr. Evans has served as a mentor, program director, doula, lab technician, and clinical board member.
